With joy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude, Jon collaborates with clients and team members to incorporate their ideas into visualizations that bring stakeholders on board. Three-dimensional renderings and construction documents are among the ways in which Jon engages his audiences. He was also an early adopter of virtual reality, recognizing that technology’s ability to immerse clients in a potential workplace environment to elicit their responses.
“Virtual reality is a much more interactive way for us to confidently communicate our advanced ideas and concepts,” he says, “and for our clients to respond to what we’re proposing.” Jon excels at drawing out collaborators’ input and gently guiding them in new directions that result in projects that exceed expectations. “When we’re sharing design ideas, the client feels integral and critical to the process,” he says. “Client success and happiness motivates me.” Because Jon teaches Revit I and Revit II at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, he’s also a source of expertise for building information modeling.
